Good Faithنموونە
Have you ever had something not work out the way you hoped it would in life? You didn’t get the promotion you were promised, you weren’t able to start a family in the timeline you wanted, you got a diagnosis you didn’t expect, or a relationship ended abruptly. While those situations can be so challenging, what can make the outcome even more difficult to process is, at times, our faith. Maybe you walked into those circumstances with full faith and confidence. You trusted God, you prayed, you walked in obedience, you kept the faith. And then, what you hoped for or expected just didn’t happen. It probably made you question your faith altogether at times!
Well, as the writer of Hebrews reminds us, this is life in a broken world. We can walk forward faithfully toward what we believe God has called us to in this life, but sometimes, it doesn’t work the way we hoped it would. We don’t always see the rewards or get a good outcome. When that happens, our faith doesn’t have to be shaken. Instead, we can reframe our thinking to remember that, because of Jesus, our faith will carry us to a bigger, greater, eternal outcome. And that makes every faithful step in life worth it in the end. Spend time in prayer today asking God to give you faith to face outcomes and circumstances you didn’t choose or expect.

About this Plan
We’re told to have faith that certain things will happen, to put our faith in ourselves, to keep the faith, to be faithful. But while phrases like that get tossed around in our vocabulary all the time, have you ever stopped to wonder what faith is really all about? At its core, faith is all trust, hope, and confidence. In this devotional, we’ll look at how putting our faith in Jesus shapes the way we live.
