DAY 13: OVERCOMING FAMILY PRESSURES

Prayer Topic: Pray for guidance to prioritize your relationship with Christ amidst family pressures.

Family pressures can be some of the most difficult to navigate, especially when they conflict with our faith. In Matthew 10:37-39, Jesus speaks about the cost of following Him, even when it means making hard choices within our families. He doesn’t ask us to abandon our loved ones, but He does call us to prioritize our relationship with Him above all else. This can feel challenging when family expectations pull us in different directions, but Jesus promises that when we choose Him, we find true life. Pressing on in faith may sometimes mean standing firm in the face of family pressures, trusting that Jesus is worth any sacrifice. Today, if you’re facing tension between your faith and family, remember that Jesus sees your struggle. He calls you to follow Him, knowing that in doing so, you will find the life He has planned for you—one filled with purpose and eternal value.
