Strategies to Dominate in Spiritual Battlesنموونە
In our walk with God, there are times when we find ourselves in intense spiritual battles, facing unexpected challenges and attacks. During these times, we need strategies to stand strong and be victorious. The first two essential strategies that can help any believer remain strong on the day of battle are to understand where our strength comes from and how to guard our anointing.
The first strategy is simple: be strong in the Lord. This is not an option in spiritual warfare. Ephesians 6:10 commands us to find our strength in God, not in ourselves. Being strong is a mindset—it’s the ability to face danger and difficulties with firmness and courage. When you rely on God’s strength, you are positioned to withstand any attack. Always remember that as believers, we fight from a position of victory, not weakness.
The second strategy is just as essential: don’t waste your anointing. Ephesians 6:12 says, “We do not wrestle against flesh and blood.” Many of us often waste energy fighting battles with people—whether in arguments with loved ones or disputes with strangers. But we’re not called to wrestle with flesh and blood. If you constantly battle people, you’ll drain your anointing and have nothing left for the real enemy. David understood this when he walked away from arguments with his brothers to face Goliath (1 Samuel 17:28-30). He didn’t waste his anointing on unnecessary battles, and neither should we.
Protect your anointing by choosing your battles wisely.
Let’s pray:
Lord, please strengthen me for the battles I face. Help me to rely on Your power and protect my focus by helping me to turn away from unnecessary conflicts. Amen.
