God's Promises in Painful Timesنموونە

God will be faithful to those who have faith in Him
The Bible holds numerous examples of people much like us who experienced painful, stressful, and frightening circumstances. Job lost everything (and we mean everything!) and experienced great physical pain. David was hunted by a king he used to work for. Joseph was sold into slavery by his own brothers. Moses faced plagues, Pharoah’s army, and the stubbornness of the people who God asked him to lead.
Some of their circumstances were dire. Some were long-suffering. Some wept in pain for others. For some, their losses were great. But through it all, they kept their faith in God - and God showed up! He heard their prayers. He showed them his own faithfulness to fight for them, to give them strength, and to give mercy and grace.
Reading about God’s promises kept to these faith-filled people of long ago can inspire us all to have faith that God will see us through our painful times, too.
