Peace (I Am the Lord)

It's probably one of the hardest things to find: Real peace. Before I knew God, I was constantly looking for peace. Peace of mind, peace of heart, peace of spirit. I was looking in all the wrong places: the company of women, having casual relations, sleeping pills, numbing my spirit with alcohol, porn... you name it. Some of the stuff seemed to work, but only for a short while, and then I went looking for more 'peace'.

The night I surrendered my life to God, I was completely drained, hollow, beat, stuck, and broken. I cried out to Him, "This is no life! I can't do this anymore, You can have it all!" And He answered me.. drumroll please.. with Peace!

Real, genuine, everlasting Peace. A peace I had never experienced before in my whole life. That transcended every notion I had of peace. I had to surrender to receive that Peace. To enter that Peace. That very same Peace is what He wants to give you. Like waves, rolling over you. I am the Lord. I Am.
