An Extra Extra Christmasنموونە

The Cost of Following
Following God’s plan often requires us to face challenges, and sometimes those challenges involve sacrifice, just like Joseph did when he took Mary and Jesus and fled to Egypt. Joseph didn’t hesitate—he trusted God and acted immediately to protect his family, even though it meant leaving behind everything familiar. His obedience was crucial to God's plan unfolding, and it serves as a reminder that obedience often comes at a cost. When we follow God’s lead, we might have to make tough decisions or face uncomfortable situations, but we can trust that God’s guidance and faithfulness are always with us. Joseph’s example encourages us to step out in trust, knowing that even when the road is difficult, God has a purpose for us. Following Him might not always be easy, but the rewards of obedience and faith are immeasurable.
Questions:
1. Where might God be calling you to trust Him, even when it’s hard?
2. How can Joseph’s example inspire you to follow God’s lead?
3. What are some sacrifices you might make to follow Jesus more closely?
