Are You Ready?

DAY 5 OF 6

Navigating Through Doubt

Let’s be real, everyone has doubts sometimes. Maybe it’s when life gets overwhelming, or things don’t go how you thought they would. You might wonder, "Is God even paying attention?" or "Why is this happening to me?" These tough moments of doubt can make you feel like you’re drifting.

In Mark 9:24, there’s a guy who’s feeling the same way. He tells Jesus, “I believe; help my unbelief!” He had faith, but he was struggling, just like we do. Instead of running away from his doubt, he brought it straight to Jesus—and Jesus didn’t push him away. He met him right in his doubt.

Here’s the thing: God isn’t mad when we doubt. He’s not waiting to catch us messing up. He wants us to come to Him with our doubts, questions, and frustration. Maybe you’ve been praying for something, and it feels like God’s silent. Maybe you’re going through a tough time at school or home and you’re not sure how to handle it. Those are the moments when it’s hardest to believe—but they’re also the moments when God wants to meet you right where you are.

Remember, having faith doesn’t mean “never doubting.” It means trusting God, even when it’s hard and we don’t have all the answers. He’s big enough to handle your doubts—so bring them to Him.
