Recognizing God's Eternal Nature
“Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God” Psalm 90:2 (ESV).
God exists beyond time - He was there before the mountains, before the Earth, and before time itself. Our lives may seem long to us, but they are merely a moment in God’s Eternal Timeline. Recognizing God’s eternal nature helps us see our lives in perspective and understand that he holds our time and future securely. How does knowing God is eternal and unchanging bring you comfort during uncertain times?
Prayer: Father God, Thank you for being my everlasting foundation. When life feels uncertain or overwhelming, help me remember that you are from everlasting to everlasting. Let me find peace in your Presence. In Jesus name, Amen.

Psalm 90 reminds us of God’s eternal nature and the fleeting, fragile nature of our lives. This Psalm encourages us to “number our days.” Over seven days, we will reflect on how to align our lives with God’s eternal perspective by managing our time wisely, living with expectation, depending on His strength, and seeking his Favor. May this devotional bring you closer to God’s heart and guide you to live each day with wisdom and joy.
