14 Days of Prayer + Fasting: Ephesians 6نموونە
DAY FIVE ~ Shoes that Speak
Ephesians 6:15 “… with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.”
If we consider each piece of the armor as a revelation of Jesus, then these Shoes remind us that Jesus lived with a Mission. Putting on the Shoes of the Gospel of Peace speaks of going somewhere on Purpose. Mark's account of Jesus commissioning the disciples to "go into all the world and preach the Gospel" (Mk 16:15), echoes into our own lives. We are on a Mission, carrying the Good News that brings Peace.
The Hebrew word we translate into "peace" is, "shalom." It means, "nothing missing and nothing broken". This is our Mission from Jesus. We shake off the apathy and put on the Shoes of the Gospel of Peace.
Father, I thank You for helping me stay on the Mission. Send me to bring Good News to others. I speak "shalom’ or "Peace", over my family and over my day, in Jesus' Name.

About this Plan
Welcome to a season of prayer and fasting, and a 14-day Devotional to encourage you along the way. Let us each set aside some time and space to be ready to hear from Heaven. From this position, we can see new possibilities as we intentionally fix our eyes on Jesus, and discover just how powerful we are when we pray. This Devotion comes from Ephesians 6. Our prayer is that over the next few days, the Living Word will reshape our hearts and minds and we will see answers to prayer and encounters in the Word.
