Don’t Forget to be Grateful

Focusing on gratitude is a great way to soothe anxiety. But sometimes we just forget to be grateful. This account in Luke 17 reminds us how easy it is to forget to say thank you. Jesus had just miraculously healed these ten men. You’d think they would have been bursting with thanks. Yet only one of them turned back to Jesus to actually thank and worship Him. In whatever ways God blesses us, we should always want to be like the one man and not the other nine!

Prayer: Dear God, please help me not to forget to be grateful. You are so good to me, and I have so many blessings to focus on. I want to worship and praise and thank You for everything. Amen.
