Faith Credited as Righteousness
Abraham: The Faith that Obeys
Abraham is known as the father of faith. By faith, Abraham obeyed when he was called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance. He went out, wondering where he was going. His obedience was rooted in his trust in God’s promises. Abraham’s faith was credited to him as righteousness, and all nations are blessed through him.
Prayer:
Lord, help us to trust and obey your call, even when we don’t see the whole path. Strengthen our faith to follow you wholeheartedly. Amen.
