Sealed Women: I Amنموونە
DAY 7: Buy the Truth and Don't Give It Up
"Buy truth, and do not sell it." (Proverbs 23:23)
Your world changes when you see yourself the way God sees you. For that to happen, you need the Holy Spirit to help you change how you talk about yourself.
You may think, “I don’t know who He says I am, so how can I speak in agreement with Him?”
The Bible, the written Word, is where you start.
You and I may not look like much to this world, but as followers of Christ, our Heavenly Father has made many extraordinary statements about us. There are over 100 verses about who we are in Christ in the Bible. These verses contain the phrase “in Christ,” or some variation, expressing the Truth about our identity.
As you meditate on God’s Word and relentlessly align the words you speak with His, your thoughts will align with His. You will also discover the specifics and nuances of your own calling.
The details of God’s specific Word for your life will become clearer and clearer as you appropriate and align yourself with the general truths of God’s written Word.
It is not easy to align the words of someone's mouth with God’s Word. You may even be criticized for putting these principles into practice. This is spiritual warfare. Truth is purchased—it comes at a cost. Controlling our words is a profound sacrifice. We are all too prone to accumulating fleshly baggage.
The “old me” must be crucified. This is the high price to become the “new me.”
If we are to walk with the Lord, the level of sacrifice never diminishes. But the reward is spiritual growth into our true identity in Christ—daughters of God—the highest title a human being can receive.
There is a price to pay to not let go of the Truth. It takes the good discipline to stop, sit down, and say, “I’m going to think about some things on purpose,” like a physical workout.
Spend time thinking about Bible verses that renew your mind with the Truth of what God says about who you are to Him—about His love for you, His plan, and how He wants you to live and behave.
Find verses that cover areas you are struggling with or need to know more about.
Speak out loud and study verses about being “in Christ,” “through,” and “for Christ,” and you will discover how Heaven sees you.
The Bible is a living Book that contains the words that give order to your existence.
The Creator God is the “I Am” God—the Identity God. You are who He says you are. And your mission will fulfill the purpose of who you are and satisfy you.

My Declaration:
(Watch the following video and speak out loud what God’s Word says about who you are. Verses are paraphrased based on the specific the Bible references.)
About this Plan
God is famous for interrupting people’s brokenness and speaking a new identity into them. Identity is at the heart of what it means to be human. Today, people think they are free to choose their identity, which leads them to put on masks and personas. But the Good News of Christ says that you, in God’s love, can discover what God says about you. You are who the “I Am” says you are. And only in the identity your Creator has given you, will you live a life of peace, security, and freedom.
