DAY 3 OF 4

Called to Love and Connect

We’re called to love and to be there for each other! There's a misconception that having a title means you're fulfilling the function it implies. There’s an assumption that a title signifies a meaningful connection, but that is not always so! Parental titles don’t connect people—invested time does.

I honestly believe that we parents, want to do it God’s way. Perhaps it's just that we don’t always have the tools to make it happen in our busy, day-to-day lives. My wife and I, and several other couples, have found something that has made a massive difference in our families.

Every week, we receive a one-page guide that includes a Bible verse, a worship song, a question for each day (to spark a short conversation with our family), and a short prayer to go through together. Something that only takes about 25 minutes a day has helped us be intentional with the precious time we have with our family. A strong bond in your family is a true blessing from your Father. A strong bond with your spouse is a blessing from your Father. It can be as simple as being intentional with a family meal. Others realize that right before everyone goes to bed is a perfect time for them. Determine the best time to be intentional with investing in your family relationships.

About this Plan

Family Vitals

In this 4-day plan, you’ll explore foundational aspects of family life—Worship, Word, Connection, and Prayer. Each day includes key Bible verses, a short devotional, and a question to guide your family in making these a central part of your home life. As you engage in these practices, you’ll build a strong spiritual foundation to sustain your family through every season of life.
