Divine Preparations for Kingdom Professionals

DAY 22 OF 31

VALUE GOD’S TREASURE IN YOU

Some people will trade away their tomorrow for a pot of pottage today, as Esau did. He said, “What profit is this thing to me?” Don't trade away what is precious in your life. There is something in your life that God gave you when you came here that will make sure you are not a beggar on this planet. Everybody has it, but many people trade it away and look for something else.

There is something divine within you, whether talent or something else, and when you connect with God, He will reveal it. This gift will draw people’s attention to you when the time is right. Joseph had this gift even while he was a slave; eventually, Pharaoh needed it. Daniel, too, had it. Although he was a slave, King Nebuchadnezzar sought what he possessed. Esther had it as well. You might see it as something as simple as a beautiful face, but remember, God gave Esther that beauty.

You must be careful of Belial, the worthless one, which reduces people to nothing. Don't let anything or anyone reduce you to a state of worthlessness because something will put you among kings if you know it, work upon it and hone it. The Bible says, “Do you see a man diligent and skilful in his business? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men (Pro. 22:29 AMP).” You must not despise what is critical in your life.

Prayer: Father, show me the critical treasure(s) in my life so that I can begin to develop them and use them to Your glory in Jesus’ name.
