• North America has 23 independent states, but 41 countries total including non-independent territories.
• Christians 86% Evangelicals 18%
• North America is a land full of immigrants of every imaginable background; pray for unity and justice among this greatly diverse people.
• Thank God for the positive spiritual impact of North America on the world.
• Great evangelists and missionary statesmen who touched the world and the immeasurable effects of writers, speakers, pastors, and trainers on the global body of Christ, through training, teaching, disciplining, and empowering, pray for this to continue.
• The USA has been unstinting generosity in giving - especially mission advances, pray this also continues.
• Pray against the rise of anti-Christian secularism and aggressive atheism that seeks to marginalize the Church through control of the media and legislation. The increasing imposition of secularism upon civic, academic, and political life.

Submitted Power

In today's text, we see the disciples discover their newfound superpowers. Excited by this they ask Jesus if they can recklessly use these powers; Jesus rebukes them. Jesus walked in power undoubtedly, but it was a power submitted to His Father's will and plans.

The USA remains the superpower of our day; as we pray for every blessing on this great nation; pray also for yourself; that as God empowers you, you will be mindful of how and where you release that power. Doing all things in submission and humility to the Father's will and in the right spirit. God bless America.
