Day 2: Recognizing Each Other's Gifts
**Scripture** Romans 12:6-8 (NIV) - "We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully."
**In-Depth Reflection**
Every believer is endowed with spiritual gifts that are meant to be used to edify the Body of Christ. In marriage, recognizing and appreciating your spouse's gifts is essential to building a strong and effective partnership. These gifts are not just for individual growth but are meant to be a blessing to your marriage and to others.
Today, spend time identifying the gifts God has given you and your spouse. How can these gifts be used to support each other’s Calling and to serve others? When both spouses operate in their gifts, they create a powerful synergy that glorifies God and strengthens their union. Encourage each other to fully embrace and use these gifts in your marriage.
**Prayer**
Father, thank You for the gifts You have given us. Help us to recognize and appreciate each other’s gifts and to use them to strengthen our marriage and serve Your Kingdom. May we be united in Purpose and empowered by Your Spirit to walk in our gifts together. Amen.
