My Focus Is Eternity

DAY 4 OF 10

Our worries reveal where our treasure is. Jesus calls us to invest in heavenly treasures, where our hearts will be secure and truly satisfied. The covenant with Christ is eternal and should be the focus of our lives, guiding our decisions and priorities.

To live with eternity in mind, we need to reflect on where we are investing our time and energy. The temporary things of this world often attract and consume our resources, but Jesus reminds us that these treasures have no eternal value. He calls us to redirect our efforts and investments toward what is eternal.

Reflect on where you have been investing your time and energy. Are you accumulating treasures on earth or in heaven? Identify areas where you can realign your priorities to focus more on God and His Kingdom. This might include dedicating more time to prayer, studying the Bible, serving in the church, or caring for and loving others. Make a commitment to redirect your efforts toward what has eternal value.

Prayer: Lord, may my heart always be focused on You and Your heavenly treasures. Help me to invest in what has eternal value. In Jesus' name, amen.

About this Plan

My Focus Is Eternity

When we live only in the present, we can forget that the foundation of Christ is eternity. We may focus on the future but not on eternity. Often, this results in people without a future and without eternity. We must feed on the Bread of Life and know the Resurrection to prepare ourselves for eternal life.
