Congratulations! You made it to day 7 of this "New Leaf: Turning the Page" Bible plan. In this plan we dealt with accepting Christ, the turning point, and this journey being a process. We also talked about grace, forgiveness and renewing your mind. Which brings us to the topic of today.
Embrace the New
You have to learn how to enjoy every bit of this newness, that God has granted you. You are a new creation! The old you, along with your old ways, are no more. (2 Corinthians 5:17) This is like giving Picasso and fresh canvas
It's almost like writing a paper with a ton of grammatical errors on it. A paragraph dedicated to your shortcomings. Another dedicated to your flaws. Ending with a climax that will leave you with guilt and shame. But when once you accept Christ in your life your slate is clean. It's like He turned the page for you. He gave you a new loose leaf sheet of paper to rewrite your story. Isn't that amazing? Praise God for a new start.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I just want to thank you. Thank you for turning the page, and giving me a new leaf. Giving me a chance to rewrite my story with you being the author. Help me embrace this new journey, and trust Your process. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
