SEXUALITY - the BIBLE DARES to TALK ABOUT IT!نموونە
Genesis 2:24 (NLT): This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.
Hebrews 13:4 (NIV): Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (NLT): Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.
1 Corinthians 6:18 (NIV): Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.
John 14:15 (NLT): If you love me, obey my commandments.
"Can a Christian have premarital sex?" Part 2.
Throughout the Bible, God speaks of His relationship with His people as the relationship of a husband and wife. Sexuality is pure, beautiful, and sacred in His eyes because it represents the most intimate level at which two beings can commune with each other.
These relationships are spiritual, emotional, and physical. That is why they are not to be taken lightly, for they bind us on all these levels with all those with whom we indulge!
This is why, outside the divine framework, sexuality proves to be destructive not only emotionally, spiritually, and physically but also damages relationships between individuals, marriages, and families across generations.
Are you single and afraid you will not be able to find a partner if you do not "have sex first"? If your partner demands sex without commitment, he or she is probably not a person worthy of you, who will not know how to respect you and make you happy!
Are you getting married and cannot wait any longer? Then get married quickly, rather than jeopardizing your future union! Because if you do not, there will be negative consequences.
Have you been "stuck" for years because of cultural customs or family pressures? Rather than living in concubinage outside the divine plan, have a civil marriage while you wait for your cultural marriage to become possible.
Are you widowed and do not want to lose your deceased spouse's pension by remarrying? Is God’s will not eternally more important than your current financial and material needs?
God does not set traps for us. What He wants is our obedience to His will. Saving sexual relations for after marriage, however unpopular it may be, is showing Him that you love Him. It is acting on faith.
About this Plan
Sexuality is beautiful when it is lived according to God's standards. How can you talk about sexuality so naturally? Simply because God created sexuality! He created man and woman as sexual beings, and He said it was good! We want to present God's standards, normalize, and look at this gift God has given us through His own eyes.
