How to Overcome the Fear of Evangelism?نموونە
Sanctify Jesus in your heart!
So many people explain their fear of evangelism with 'I'm not good at speaking.' But typically, the same person can passionately talk to you for ages about the latest Netflix series or their favorite sports team's victory or their children's latest antics. Yet, when the topic turns to faith, people find it hard to articulate their thoughts. Why does this happen?
The Apostle Peter, in his epistle, teaches us to always be ready to give an answer concerning our faith (1 Peter 3:15). But that doesn't mean we need to memorize a list of Scriptures about sin or be ready to defend ourselves like warriors. It's much simpler. Peter wrote about it in the same verse: "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts.
In our culture, there's a proverb: "What fills the heart, spills out through the tongue." Similarly, Jesus Himself says, "For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks" (Matthew 12:34). So, the secret is very simple—we speak about what we're filled with, what we live, and what we constantly think about. We're always "evangelizing." We're always talking about what is "sacred" to us. If something is sacred, separated, consecrated, of utmost importance, it will flow from our hearts into our conversations. Therefore, we suggest you take Peter's advice and fill your hearts with "the Lord Christ.
