UNCOMMEN Change: Being A Man For All Seasonsنموونە
Day 1: A Time For Everything
Through nature, we have a physical reminder of the change each year through the four seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Each of these seasons provides different climates that require different preparations. Depending on what climate you live in, you may get to experience all four seasons. Similarly, in life, we experience different seasons of our lives. And the older we get, the easier it becomes to recognize those different seasons for what they are. Solomon lays out different contrasting seasons or periods in a person’s life. We can look at the world and all our experiences around us and see appropriate seasons for such things as birth, death, planting, weeping, laughing, and so forth.
We are also reminded that no matter how much we plan, only God knows when these will occur. In popular culture we often hear that “everything happens for a reason,” but in Ecclesiastes Chapter 3, we are reminded that everything happens for God’s reason and in His timing. It is a reminder that God is in control. He is Sovereign, and He is working things out according to his gracious and good plan. It is good to know that nothing that occurs surprises God and He has prepared a purpose for each season. Let's remind ourselves of that truth today.
Uncommen Question: What's the purpose for a challenging season? What could God be working on in you? Finally, How can you trust God in the season you are in today?

About this Plan
Seasons change; it’s a certainty of life. In Ecclesiastes Chapter 3, Solomon offers a much different perspective on what it means to be a man in all seasons. In this study, you will learn from Solomon that life with all its various seasons, gives us opportunities to draw closer to God. We will discover that God has perfect timing, He makes all things beautiful in time.
