Motivation–Finding Your "It"نموونە
What Motivates You?
God blesses us with many things in life. On the day that you are born, you are given the world as your present–all of its wonders and trials and tribulations. I firmly believe that God has a destiny for every person and that everyone has the potential to change the world. It is up to you, however, to decide to follow this path that he has set out before you. This path looks very different, depending on the person. You see, some talents and skills and characteristics are unique only to you. Maybe you have the so called “gift of gab” and can captivate audiences with your words and tone of speaking. Maybe you have the ability to work with your hands and can build things and help others with this gift. Whatever it is, you have it.
What are we to do with our gifts that the Lord has provided us with? In order to answer that question, you must first analyze yourself. What are you good at? What makes you happy? In what environment or position can you be more helpful and efficient? Your answers to these questions will determine what your “it” is. This is a concept that I have spoken many times on and a topic that we discuss at the office quite frequently. Your “it” is your passion. What motivates you? What gets you out of bed in the morning, and what keeps you up at night? Do you have a passion for listening to and helping others? Do you have a passion for working with your hands and building things? Are you an artist? These are things that you need to know about yourself to better understand where God wants you to be.
Everyone has something to offer the world; everyone has an “it” that they need to acknowledge. This will be easy for some but very difficult for others to grasp. Your “it” has to be something strong. Something that you constantly think about. Something that brings you joy and allows you to bring joy to others around you. Find out what motivates you, and use it to your advantage.
Have you found your "it"? If so, what is your "it"?
About this Plan
One of the many beautiful things in life is the fact that God made every individual on Earth in his image, yet also managed to make sure that no two people are exactly alike. God has given you a unique purpose, which I like to refer to as your “it.” In this plan, we will go over this concept of finding your “it” and using it to benefit the world.
