In This Together: 10 Devotions on the Book of Ephesiansنموونە
Living Proof
He has showered down upon us the richness of His grace—for how well He understands us and knows what is best for us at all times. Ephesians 1:8 TLB
Being known is one of the most beautiful reflections of love. We’re seen and understood perfectly by God because His love for us is flawless. Knowing what is best for us includes knowing who is best for us. We have friends who challenge us and those who comfort us; some we’ve known for a lifetime and others for a short time. Yet, we should never become so comfortable in our relationships that we miss God’s constant movement in our lives. People are His passion, and we’re called to be living proof of His love. Meeting new people can inspire us to prayerfully ask the questions, “What does this person need from me that will help them see You?” or “What do I need to see in this person that will help me be more like You?"
God’s best will always be centered around the relationships in our lives. He created us for them. Life is hard, and love is needed more than ever. When we look for ways to show love, we open our hearts to receive it. Where love is, God is—in the most fulfilling, life-changing, world-shaking way.
I want to be Your love language on this earth, Lord. Deepen my desire to express it wherever I go, with everyone I meet.
