Qualifying to Work With God (Criteria for Divine Partnership)نموونە
BE PATIENT WITH DIVINE WORKING
A man that God will work with must be patient with God. When a man is not patient with God, divine activities in the life of such an individual are disrupted. Patience is required to succeed in ministry and life as a whole. Patience is defined as the ability to deal with the passage of time while God is working out the details. This is where several people have a challenge in their walk with God. Patience enables a man to keep on with the last instruction he received from the Lord, even in the face of difficult situations and circumstances.
Lack of patience can be detrimental, even for a child of God, leading to avoidable mistakes. This was the tragic error of Saul. His impatience, his inability to wait for Samuel, cost him and his descendants dearly. A man that God will work with will allow God to work out his divine plans in his life. There is a patience that we must allow for God to do all that he intends to do in us, with us and through us. The words patience, longsuffering, and endurance are triplets of the same father. You need longsuffering with men; you need endurance when dealing with the devil, while patience is what you need when dealing with God.
The Bible says you need patience after you have done the will of God, not before, but after, so that you can obtain what He promised. After you have done all that is to be legitimately done, you stand and wait for the salvation of the Lord. God will always come for you if you wait for Him.
PRAYER: LORD, help me to wait for you while working out the details of my destiny. Amen!
