Don’t Play Jesus
Today, let's unpack the truth that we can't play Jesus. He knows us inside out, flaws and all. It's easy to fall into the trap of trying to hide our struggles or fix ourselves before coming to Him, but that's not how it works. He's the one who gives us a new heart and spirit, removing our heart of stone and giving us a heart of flesh. Let's embrace the reality that we don't have to have it all together to come to Jesus; He invites us to come as we are, brokenness and all.
Today, let's lay down our burdens at His feet and allow Him to give us new wine and new wineskins. Surrender your burdens to Jesus, allowing Him to provide rest and transformation.
Points for Reflection:
1. Acknowledge areas where you may be trying to hide from God or fix things on your own.
2. Embrace the truth that God desires you to come to Him completely, burdens and all.
