Changes Continue to Exist

We hear that everything in life passes; even the raisins... (old Christmas joke that the uncle makes at the table). But this is the purest truth. Everything in life goes through changes. Friendships, feelings, character - everything. But if there's something that doesn't change and remains the same as it always was, it's God's love for us. We may not have that same reciprocity of love with other people; we can give more of ourselves than they do in certain relationships (whether friendship or dating/marriage). But there is a love that will always be reciprocal (and even greater than the love we show) - it is God's love for us. He loves us so much that He subjects us to situations to improve our character and see how far we will go out of love for Him.

When we are willing to be a vessel in His hands, we go through situations that shape us. But God uses them to mold us with hands of love, so we become better by going through them. I have a lot of things God needs to change in my life, but He is doing it because I was willing to let Him do it. Do The same yourself! Give yourself the chance to become better by letting yourself be broken by God, because it will be REALLY worth it! There are changes that we NEED to go through! It's not a matter of choice; but a matter of NEED. Without those changes, we will not be what God wants us to be in order to accomplish what He wants us to accomplish.
