Spiritual Discernmentنموونە
The Fruit of Discernment
There are principles all throughout the Word that contain promises. This is wonderful news, but we cannot claim the promises unless we fulfil the conditions. Jesus said that if we remain in Him, and He remains in us, we will bear much fruit (John 15:5). Scripture outlines some of the fruit we can expect as we abide in Him and grow in spiritual discernment.
Glory to God
The fruit in our life should result in greater glory to God, and the fruit of true discernment will increase the honor given to Him. The more we walk in His righteousness and His ways, then God will become visible to others in a more tangible way—and He gets the praise!
Wisdom
As we spiritually discern, and as our minds are renewed more and more in alignment with the Holy Spirit, then the fruit will be wisdom. Holy Spirit wisdom will overflow from our heart and be evident in what we say. Our choices will be wise, and our words will be gracious and filled with life and truth.
Leadership Grace
Discernment empowers the grace to lead others in alignment with God’s intention. Joseph (who served under Pharaoh) and King Solomon were known for their discernment and wisdom. Their gift was not about self-gain, but about serving others.
Discerning What is Best
Learning from the Lord, and leaning into His knowledge and insight, means we are able to discern not just between good and evil, but also to discern what is best. We understand what the Father’s good and perfect will is to a greater level.
This is the season to lean into spiritual discernment and receive His wisdom and revelation in ever increasing measure!

About this Plan
Discernment isn’t just a gift for certain believers–it is vital for every follower of Christ. In a world where the enemy constantly attempts to blur the lines between good and evil, we need an understanding of how to distinguish between what is of God and what is not of God. In this 10-day devotional plan, discover how to go beyond natural observation and see from God’s perspective.
