1 & 2 Timothy نموونە
We all want to look good on the outside. Many of us spend hours each week working out to keep fit and lose a few extra pounds. We set aside time to go to the gym, to go on a run, or prepare a healthy meal. While it is good to take care of our bodies, how much more valuable is the training we invest in our spiritual lives! A big part of training ourselves for godliness is being intentional to read God’s Word, learn from God’s Word, and live God’s Word. None of those tasks are easy, but neither is exercising at first. We know the more we exercise our bodies, the better the results. The same is true with our spiritual lives. Remember this beautiful promise: investing in our spiritual life not only greatly impacts our earthly life; what we do now for eternity ripples through time.
Dear Jesus,
Thank you for the body that You have given me. Help me to not only be a good steward of my physical body but help me learn to develop my spiritual muscles as well. Change my heart and give me the desire to be in Your Word. Help me to fall in love with Your Word and apply it to my life so that Your truth can transform me from the inside out. Amen.

About this Plan
After an encounter with Jesus, Paul was radically changed. This change led him to plant churches, go on missions, and write much of the New Testament. Two of the books he penned were letters written to a young man named Timothy. Paul wrote regarding church leadership and ministry perseverance that are powerful reminders to us today as we seek to stand firm with faith in an ungodly world.
