Kingdom Leadership

DAY 4 OF 7

Principle #4 "Every leader needs counsel."

Proverbs tells us that an entire nation can fall without guidance, but victory is won through many advisors. If a nation can fall without guidance, what would happen to our businesses if we had no guidance?

No leader can lead without a team. One of the most prideful things you can do as a leader is to think that you can do it all on your own. It is a trick that leads to boastfulness and reliance solely on your own knowledge and strength. Scripture tells us that “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.”

God will connect you with the right people to fulfill His purpose in your life. It is for your good that you have a team that can hear from God and help you lead the mission you’ve been called to. Every leader needs wise counsel around them. You won’t always have the answer, and when it’s time to make big decisions, having a sound board keeps you from falling.

Every kingdom leader needs counsel, for victory is won through many advisors.
