Faith Without Works Is Dead.
"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." James 2:26 KJV
Faith without works is dead. The manifestation of faith is work. James 2:18 KJV says, “Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.“ The fruit of faith is execution.
As you execute your goal, God will give you the grace to complete it. Whatever assignment—God has given you the grace to crush it. Put your hands on the plow and build. “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV.
Choose to walk by faith and not by sight. Choose to put your hands on the plow and run. Build and run by faith. For faith without works is dead. Notice that James 2:18 KJV uses the word "works".
According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for works used in James 2:18 is ‘ergon’ (G2041) which means “business, employment, that which anyone is occupied, that which one undertakes to do, enterprise, undertaking, any product whatever, any thing accomplished by hand, art, industry, or mind, an act, deed, a thing done: the idea of working is emphasized in opposition to that which is less than work.”
Demonstrate your faith through your works, through business, through your employment, and your God-given enterprises. Demonstrate your faith by your works through your undertakings and for any product or anything accomplished by the work of your hands.
Build and continue to build. May your faith be strengthened as you surrender every area of your heart to Christ. Build yourselves up on your most Holy faith and build.
