What Jesus Said About Following Himنموونە

I do; you help and learn.
Thorough research of the book of Mark shows that Jesus spent 49% of His time alone with His disciples. They were with Him most of the time during the other periods as He was ministering to the crowds and in discourses with many different people.
They were there when the Pharisees and Scribes asked Him questions, and they could see how He dealt with that. They were there when He told parables, and they could ask Him afterwards about the meaning of these parables. When the rich young ruler came to Him, He demonstrated to them how to discern if someone really wanted to follow Him.
What we see here is the basic principle Jesus is using to multiply disciples! He took them with Him. Demonstrate to them. Teach them. Allow them to help Him. Build faith in them. In this way, He prepares them to go out and be disciples and disciple-makers.
Obedience: Are you imitating Jesus in your small group of Jesus followers, your family, and your community?

The first thing that Jesus did when He came to the disciples was to call them to follow Him. And He added: to make fishers of men. In the same way, Jesus is calling us to follow Him and make fishers of men. Many think only about salvation when Jesus calls them. No, He calls us to repentance and to be fishers of men. It is one concept.
