Being A Woman Of The Wordنموونە
A Life of Praise
We often talk about bringing glory to God as if it is a complicated process. In reality, it is quite simple: we bring glory to God by offering praise.
But offering praise, while simple, isn't easy. To do it, we have to swim upstream of our circumstances and emotions and choose to acknowledge the good God has done - even in difficult times. And yet the difficulty of praise is what makes it so beautiful. Praise is a sacrifice. This explains why God treasures the words of worship we offer to Him. A life of praise is indeed a "pleasing aroma" to our Lord (2 Cor. 2:15). Choosing praise is evidence of a heart that embraces God's faithfulness in every situation, acknowledging that in the midst of a sin-stained world, God is still good. And a heart that knows God's goodness can't help but bring Him glory!
