Coming Boldly To His Throne

Boldly (adverb):(of a person, action, or idea) showing an ability to take risks; confident and courageous.

Much of the book of Hebrews talks about how awesome Jesus is and the power He has. The cool thing is, that He shared that power with us when He beat death. This is why we can be super confident when we talk and pray to Him. It's like having the green light to go deep into our conversations, ditching the filters we usually use when chatting with God about the good, the bad, and the not-so-pretty stuff.

When we're real with God in those tough talks about our lives, we discover answers through His super generous grace and mercy. So, next time you're in prayer, don't hold back. Be open about your struggles, ask for His help, and intentionally be bold in your prayer. Remember, being bold is not about being perfect; it's about being real and trusting that His grace is there, ready for you to grab hold of and experience in a powerful way.

1. Can you think of a time when you were hesitant to bring a struggle or challenge to God in prayer? What might change if you approached Him with boldness in those moments?
2. How do you typically filter your conversations with God—only sharing the good, or also being open about the tough stuff? Reflect on how being bold in your prayer might deepen your connection with Him.
