John 14:15-17

If you love me, keep my commandments.And I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever, the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him; but you know him, for he abides with you and will be in you.

1 Kings 8:2

But what! Does God really live on earth? Behold, the heavens and the heavens of heavens cannot contain you: how much less this house that I have built for you!

Luke 11:24

When an unclean spirit has gone out of a man, it goes to dry places to seek rest. When it finds none, it says, "I will return to my house from whence I came."

Demons look for a house to rest in, but the Holy Spirit does not need a house, he is peace. Demons use people, the Holy Spirit comes into us for our good. He seeks to be in communion with us.

I suggest that you take a few minutes to adore him by addressing him personally. Remember, you are his temple...

I pray for you

Holy Spirit, I pray now for your child.

Thank you for coming to live in him/her and thank you for having waited all this time, for having persevered and attracted his/her attention, for having developed your obvious fruit in him/her. You chose to come and live in him/her and it was as if you were forgotten in him/her.

Today, just as Joseph came out of prison to reign over Egypt, Holy Spirit, I pray that you will come to reign in your child.

I pray that this day will be the glorious inauguration of your temple in him/her.

May you now be honored, adored, and celebrated in his/her life. I pray that he/she will have great joy in the development of this relationship between you.

When Moses prepared the tabernacle and when Solomon finished preparing the temple according to your instructions, your glory was revealed. It filled and saturated that temple made with human hands. I pray now, as your child decides to honor you by turning to you to build a real relationship with you, that your glory will fill him/her in Jesus' name, amen.
