Book By Book 3: Proverbs To Lukeنموونە
Ezekiel is told to eat God’s Word and then tell the people what God tells him to say. He is to tell them even if they are not interested in listening. It’s valuable to note God will hold Ezekiel responsible if he doesn’t warn the people. God also says if a righteous person turns bad, his righteousness doesn’t count in his favor, so it is important for people to end well.
We too have a responsibility to tell people what God wants from them. In our case, we tell them they need to trust in Jesus to pay for their sin. No matter where they are in life or what they have done, we can warn them of God’s judgment. It’s not our responsibility if they don’t listen, but it is ours if we don’t tell them.
