Living on Purpose: With God as Your Centerنموونە
Day 6 | An Invitation to Live on Purpose
One of our core principles in Living on Purpose is the idea of putting God at the center of our lives. All else builds from that action. We also believe that sharing your faith is not an intellectual experience, but one of the heart. People can experience your faith by listening and watching your actions. When they are aligned and focused on God, living like Jesus, people will be drawn to your faith’s warmth.
When we first shared our Living on Purpose principles, we focused on faith in the workplace, and many found their professional lives completely transformed. But it didn't stop there. The principles had ripple effects in every corner of their lives. Furthermore, others not currently engaged in workplace settings found these principles deeply impactful in their lives. This helped us understand that God calls all his children, in whatever role or season they find themselves, to live on purpose everywhere, all the time. Yes, if you lean into the concepts of Living on Purpose, your work life will change. But we believe God has so much more for you, in every domain of your life, whether that is family relationships, fitness, or finances.
We hope that this has been a helpful resource for you as you seek to openly live out your faith wherever you are – at home, at work, in your school, and in your community. We have traveled the world engaging with Christ-followers from all walks of life seeking to live faith-integrated lives. Whether they are athletes, artists, students, business leaders, or stay-at-home parents, most feel challenged in openly living out their faith with those around them. They wonder whether the Bible has any pragmatic guidance for making Christ known on Monday morning.
Spoiler alert: It does.
We can attest from personal experience that these principles work—not because we are special, but because the same God who came through for us is also there for you.
Keep in mind that God works from the inside out. Bringing your faith into your workplace—or any setting—starts with your heart, with your view of God. It’s about continually surrendering to God and letting him empower you. That is why this lesson plan was focused on living with God at the center of your life.

About this Plan
The way you see God impacts absolutely everything about your life. If you won’t believe him for big things, you won’t trust him enough to surrender to him. When you understand how powerful and good he is, how much he cares for you, and how personally involved he is in the details of your life, everything changes.
