DAY 7 OF 7

Eternity Is The Destination For The Rescued

As we complete our seven-day journey it's important that you realize that the destination is eternity. While you live on earth right now, you are navigating the struggles and blessings that go with being human. You now also have eternity etched into your heart, thanks to Jesus, who takes up residence there. So, no matter what you walk through or have to endure, you can be assured of an eternity which is free of suffering and grief. No matter how successful your life turns out, eternity will bring you greater rewards than you could ever imagine. Life with Jesus eternally is what you can look forward to with joyful anticipation. Eternity begins now, so how you live today determines the quality of your life. When you live with a God-given vision, determined to live holy and set apart, your life automatically begins to look a lot like Jesus’ did. You will make deeper impact in the parts of the world you enter and leave a mark wherever you go, even beyond your time. That’s how powerful an eternity mindset is.

Your dreams and ambitions matter — so don’t give up on them but pursue all that God puts on your heart to do. Keep your eyes on the prize at all times, which is Jesus Himself. You may desire success, wealth or influence, which are fine, but if you don’t have a relationship with Jesus, it will all be futile. Choose Him today and every day. Seek Him through His word. Walk in step with the Holy Spirit so that your heart and mind are renewed.

Thought:

Keep looking up when life gets you down so that you are eternity trained and ready.
