Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop!
Like an ever-spreading wildfire, the apostles, courageous and filled with the Holy Spirit, refuse to stop spreading the gospel. They won’t be silenced by anyone, telling everyone who will listen about the power of Jesus to rescue and restore.
Read: Acts 5:21-42 (NLT)
Explore the Theme:The apostles weren’t deterred from sharing the gospel by any human authority or force. Even the Pharisee, Gamaliel, acknowledges that plans from God do not fail like those of some other religious leaders of the time—his followers are never scattered. How must the apostles have felt knowing they could not fail when spreading the good news?
Ask God: How do you find yourself relating to this passage? How has God called you to share the good news? Do you feel timid about sharing the good news or do you feel empowered like the apostles? Where might you need to grow in your approach? Ask God to help you discover what it is that might be holding you back from sharing the truth of God with those around you.
Live it Out: God has specifically equipped you to spread the gospel in a manner that is unique to you and your strengths. Take a minute to examine those in your life who could benefit from you living a more bold version of your faith. Who comes to mind? How might God be asking you to live more boldly?

About this Plan
(Part one of a four part journey through the Books of Acts.) Even in (and especially in?) hard times, God is present and is working to build His Church. We can find encouragement in this. When circumstances force us to pivot, we don’t have to lose heart - God is with us.
