Singing God's Word With the Elliott's

DAY 4 OF 6

Have either of these new tunes bounced around your head this week? When we fill our hearts with good things, such as God’s Word, hope tends to seep through our pores, across our minds, and out of our mouths.

I (Preston) recently felt confused by my math homework, and I prayed about it. I stuck with it and figured out the math problem.

We can keep going even when we feel overwhelmed.

Be strong and courageous. "Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord Your God will be with you wherever you go (wherever you go go go) [whisper]." ~ Joshua 1:9

Family Tip:

Pick one person to begin singing the verse. When they pause, the next person can pick up for a few words until they choose to stop. Continue taking turns until you’ve finished the verse.

Reflection Questions:

When was the last time you felt confused or frustrated and decided to pray?

Why is God worthy of being brought into our challenges?
