7 Days Of Hope, Part 2

DAY 6 OF 7

You Are Awesome

You are fearfully and wonderfully made. I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Those words are written as clear as day in Psalm 139:14, but it can be hard to really believe them.

When I held Christian for the first time, I looked past his features and thought about who he was. And I knew that despite Christian’s disabilities, God had an incredible plan for my son’s life, a plan that has included a storehouse of blessings and a journey of mischievous, fun-loving, rough-and-tumble escapades. People can and have come to know God because of my sweet five-year-old boy’s journey.

God has given you and me special qualities to fulfill a purpose in our lives and in the world. We have to hold on to what makes us unique so we can be used by God in the special way He created us to be used.

Regardless of your situation in life, God thinks you’re awesome. He doesn’t see any of us as worthless; He sees us as valuable. And He has a plan for you. He wants your life to be seen for His glory.

List five characteristics that make you special. Reflect on them, and describe how you have been uniquely created. What does your list show you about your purpose?
