DOMINION

DAY 1 OF 4

Currently, identity is at the forefront of the most passionate conversations happening within our homes and societies. What the Lord has spoken is very clear, yet we do not seem to see things from His perspective. The confidence that you once had, may have been shattered by a humiliating situation, or a traumatic experience. It would seem like everyone else seems to be sure of themselves, but when you look at yourself, you a failure.

Lack of self-esteem is something that doesn’t only affect teens, but it also plagues us well into adulthood. Therefore, you try to adopt a different identity or a different persona. Something that seems “better” than the current version of “you”. This is one of the ways where the enemy starts to play mind-games. From the Garden of Eden, Adam handed over his right to dominate by subjecting himself to the counsel of the serpent. It started off with the serpent suggesting to Eve that her current intellectual state was not enough, and that mankind could attain a “God status” if they eat the forbidden fruit. Never once did Adam and Eve realize that God had created them perfectly just the way that they were. The serpent made them believe that something was missing.

Today, know that God has made you to be a powerful being, consecrated unto the King of the universe. Stand tall because you were made in the very image of God, and when you connect with His spirit, He will reveal your profile to you. Pray that you will see yourself the way that God sees you.
