DAY 2 OF 7

Throne Room

Revelation 4:8-11 Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under his wings.  Day and night they never stop saying:  “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.”  Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to him who sits on the throne for ever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne, and worship him who lives for ever and ever.  They lay their crowns before the throne and say:
“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”

There is no greater name than the name Jesus.  There is no other name as worthy to receive all our worship and all that we are.  Because of His great love for us, Jesus willingly lay down His life to cover all of our sins and make a way for us to freely enter into the presence of God.  We can boldly come to the Father and have relationship with Him because of the beautiful gift Jesus gave us.

Why would we ever turn to anything else?  When it gets tough, why would we try to take it on alone?  Run into the presence of God.  Turn your heart to Him when difficulties arise.  Take time in your day to acknowledge the reality of Christ in you, the hope of glory.  Train your heart and mind to not just come to Him when seasons are challenging, but to bring your love and devotion every day to the One who is so worthy.
