How often do you write or get a letter? Maybe not very often. But back in the first century AD, Paul wrote letters to people who wanted to join together to praise God for Jesus.

Read verses 15 and 17 from Colossians and see if you can answer these questions:

• What was created by Jesus?
• What was made for Jesus?
• What does Jesus hold together?

Do you notice anything about your answers?

In this letter, Paul is telling people massive truths about Jesus!

See what else he writes, in verses 18 to 20:

• Jesus is the head of… what?
• God made peace with us, through Jesus’ death on a… what?
• God’s plan is to bring the whole… what? … back to himself.
