Strong as a Motherنموونە

If there is anything that strangles confidence, it’s fear. Like a wiry weed, it creeps in, at first small and seemingly harmless, but before we know it, fear has immobilized us. Have you ever been actually frozen in fear? I have; I will spare you the long, drawn-out details and just tell you it is a terrible feeling. To have the desire to move and be incapable of making movement happen because of fear. Your mind is a powerful place (See Proverbs 23:7); the enemy knows it and wants to do everything he can to keep you wrapped up in fear.
But, daughter, God sees you as confident, bold, and capable! Here is the crazy thing, fear is not extinguished through more gusto or pep talk exercises. Fear is cast out -- thrown far away from you -- through God’s perfect love. God loves you with what Jeremiah calls an “everlasting love” (Jeremiah 31:3), a love that does not alter or fail. Lean into that kind of love today, as it fills every corner of your heart and mind; there will be no space left for fear.
A Prayer
Loving God, thank You for loving me in every season of my life. Today, I look away from fear and find confidence in Your love. Amen.
