Show Me Your Glory 5 Day Devotional

DAY 4 OF 5

Moses didn’t want to go anywhere without God. What an amazing attitude and incredible revelation he had about the value of the Presence of God!

God’s Presence sets God’s people apart from any other organisation or group. His Presence releases His favour and it’s noticeable. Anyone can walk into a sporting event, concert or performance and be ‘wowed’ by the gathering of a large crowd, the excitement of the competition or the skills of the individuals. It can sometimes feel electric, but that feeling is nothing compared to what can be felt when someone walks into a worship service where there is sincerity of connection to God and where His people are joined together in unity and faith.

There is something so tangible, so alive about coming into God’s Presence. I have had countless conversations with people about what they felt when they came into a Planetshakers Church service or conference. They were often incredibly moved and impacted by the tangible atmosphere, suddenly realising that it was God Himself they were feeling, that He was real and that they needed to give their lives to Him.

That’s what it feels like in God’s Presence; we sense that He is real and alive, and inviting us further into a relationship with Him. This is why Moses was so intent on having God’s Presence in his life, so much so that he wasn’t going to move unless God went with him!

Prayer

Father,

This is what I want too. I want Your Presence and I don’t want to go anywhere or do anything unless You are with me. When You are with me, I know I also have Your favour, so today Lord, be with me in everything.

I love your Presence, Amen.

About this Plan

Show Me Your Glory 5 Day Devotional

This 5 day devotional finds its inspiration from the encounters that Moses had with God resulting in him being known as a 'friend of God'. As you read through the scriptures, we pray that you too will have moments with God that will empower you and define you as His friend.
