Love God Greatly: Broken & Redeemed

DAY 9 OF 40

SOAP – Exodus 4:10-13
Moses gives a number of excuses to the Lord as to why he is fearful and wishes to refuse God’s calling for him. God desires to use all that we are and all that we are not for His glory. God’s desire is to expose our weaknesses while at the same time, revealing His strength. When we elevate our inadequacies above God’s call, we inhibit our ability to be effective for Him.

In what situation have you made your weaknesses larger than God’s strength? There is no weakness, no flaw, no imperfection that God is unaware of or incapable of using. Our focus must be on God’s willingness, ability, and power to work mightily through any flaw or imperfection we have.

Father God, I thank You that Your strength is perfected in my weakness. Give me the courage to serve You boldly even in my fear. Help me to trust that what You begin in me, You will faithfully complete. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

About this Plan

Love God Greatly: Broken & Redeemed

In this six-week Love God Greatly study, you're invited to see the goodness of God as He remembers Sarah throughout her years of infertility. Come see Him care for Naomi as she deals with loss and loneliness. Behold our great God who gave Moses courage, Paul's true zeal, and the adulterous woman's forgiveness and the change of a new life. All of the people we will study--and us included--have hearts and souls that need rescuing. Ultimately we will find that the answer to all of our brokenness--no matter who we are or what we've done--is Christ himself.
