Love God Greatly: Broken & Redeemedنموونە
SOAP – 2 Corinthians 4:7-9
Suffering and persecution realities for believers. Sin is the reason for all suffering, but not all suffering is because of sin. We live in a fallen world where Satan roams about seeking to steal, kill, and destroy. Although Satan may have some influence on our suffering, God can use any hardship for His glory.
What is your response to suffering and persecution? Through suffering, believers are emptied of themselves, transformed to Christ’s image, and find deeper intimacy with God. God promises that pain and suffering will not defeat His people.
Father God, I thank You for revealing Your love and comfort even in the midst of my suffering. Give me a heart that is full of gratitude and able to praise You no matter my circumstances. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

About this Plan
In this six-week Love God Greatly study, you're invited to see the goodness of God as He remembers Sarah throughout her years of infertility. Come see Him care for Naomi as she deals with loss and loneliness. Behold our great God who gave Moses courage, Paul's true zeal, and the adulterous woman's forgiveness and the change of a new life. All of the people we will study--and us included--have hearts and souls that need rescuing. Ultimately we will find that the answer to all of our brokenness--no matter who we are or what we've done--is Christ himself.
