Resist the pain

I am sure that we have all gone through situations that have caused us pain in the soul and heart, that only God with his mercy, has helped us to cope, forgiving our aggressors.

Forgiveness is a difficult thing to do on our own, especially when we are betrayed, deceived, belittled, and often criticized.

In the Bible, we can see that Jesus is the greatest of the examples. The pain of the weight of sin on his shoulders was not something easy to bear, but he endured the pain on the cross just for love, rising in glory on the third day.

Another clear example is Joseph. He was sold by his brothers for a few small coins, because of the envy that filled their hearts. But, he resisted because of the word of God that was within him.

Don't be dismayed!

Resist even in the midst of the pain and hard blows you face in this life. Go by the word that God has given you and resist, because the glory of God will shine on your shoulders and his blessings will follow you forever.

Don't let the pain stop you, just hold on a little longer!
