What Would Courage Do?نموونە
God gives me courage to do what’s right.
Have other people ever asked you to do the wrong thing? Have other kids tried to get you to pick on someone else, cheat on homework, or act mean to a substitute teacher?
Those are all wrong things, but if you don’t go along with them, you might be the one getting picked on or made fun of. That’s one reason it takes courage from God to stand up for what’s right.
Pray to God. Have faith and believe He’ll help you do the right thing, even if it’s really hard and no one respects you for it.
Watch the video and play Make Me Talk to help you memorize 1 Corinthians 16:13. It will help you remember that you can have faith, courage, and strength to do the right thing when others want you to do what’s wrong!
Make Me Talk
- Find a partner.
- Your partner silently opens and closes their mouth.
- Use a silly voice to make it look like your partner is saying 1 Corinthians 16:13.
- Switch jobs and play again!
Talk It Over: How would you feel if you did the right thing and other people were mean to you because of it? If that has happened to you before, talk about it.
