10 Things That Must Be Involved in Your Thanksgivingنموونە
DIRECTION AND WILLINGNESS
We will continue looking at what must be involved in your thanksgiving.
(7) Thanksgiving should be directed
As individuals, not only must your thanksgiving be specific, it should be directed to a person. You must know who you are directing your thanksgiving to - God Almighty. Yes! You must direct your Thanksgiving to God. One way to despise God is to transfer His honor to another thing or person. Thanksgiving is one of the ways to honor God, not to say, ‘I did it’ but rather, ‘God did it!’
God is the ultimate doer, the One that is the unchanging changer behind the changing scenes of our lives, the One that if He were not there, we would have been swallowed, the One that was there, that limited what the enemy wanted to do. If God is not there, the enemy just needs a few seconds to wipe us off. That is why you must always thank God. That God has been good to you is a reason why you must direct your thanksgiving to a person. As a side note, remember people that on the road of life, God used them to do things to you. Send a word to them to thank and appreciate them, your parents especially.
(8) Thanksgiving must be willingly offered
Thanksgiving must be willingly offered. I believe one of the human relations errors is ingratitude. Gratitude is a door opener for anybody, while ingratitude destroys favor and brings a bad smell to that person.
PRAYER: I thank you, LORD, for You are great; without You, I am nothing. I am who I am because of You. Take all the honor LORD, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

About this Plan
Without deep thinking, there is no thankfulness. Thanksgiving goes beyond a special day on your calendar; it is a time to give a heartfelt appreciation to God for what he has done for you personally. In this 6-day devotional, you will learn critical components of thanksgiving.
